For Christmas bettors, it promises to be anything but a silent night with the holiday weekend’s endless NFL betting action.
With Christmas falling on Sunday, most of the NFL schedule moves to Saturday this week, meaning an 11-game slate on Christmas Eve. Most contests involve teams from jurisdictions that allow legal sports betting, opening the potential for plenty of wagering action along with your eggnog and fruitcake.
That includes the New York Giants, who visit the Minnesota Vikings. And with Caesars Sportsbook live in New York, new users in the Empire State can take advantage of a welcome offer that includes up to $1,250 in free bets with the promo code USBETTINGFULL. Users who place a wager of at least $10 and lose that initial bet will get their stake returned in free bets up to $1,250. Win or lose users receive 1,000 credits from Caesars Rewards.
Here’s a rundown of Saturday’s notable games, with odds from Caesars Sportsbook:

Endless NFL Betting Action: Begins With Dallas (-5) vs. Philadelphia
The best team in the NFL, an underdog against a Cowboys team coming off a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars? That’s the case in Dallas, which is 7-1 overall at home. The Cowboys have been far less reliable as a cover, though. Mike McCarthy’s group failed to cover in four of their last six against the spread. Dallas was favored in each game. The Eagles, at 13-1 overall, are an underdog for the first time this season and had a three-game ATS win streak snapped last week in a close win over the Bears.
Minnesota (-4) vs. New York Giants
The visiting Giants are one of the NFL’s best teams against the spread. A 10-4 mark against the number for the G-Men includes covers in eight of their last 11. New York is also an excellent road team at 4-2 overall, covering three outright victories. Minnesota’s 33-point comeback over the Colts last week may have been historical. However, it marked the Vikings’ second straight ATS loss and their fourth such defeat in their previous nine contests.

Kansas City (-10) vs. Seattle
The Chiefs may be tied for the AFC’s best record at 11-3 overall, but they’ve been a dreadful 4-9-1 against the spread. Kansas City has failed to cover in five straight and eight out of 10, mainly because they’ve played closer-than-expected games involving double-digit spreads. This week is no different. Seattle has lost four of five overall and dropped five straight against the spread, and the Seahawks are double-digit underdogs for the first time this season.
Buffalo (-8) at Chicago
Like the Chiefs, the Bills stand at 11-3 overall but have been far less impressive against the spread. Buffalo has failed to cover in two straight and six out of its last eight games. Though it’s worth noting, they’re 2-2 against the spread in their past four on the road. The Bears, at 3-11 overall, have lost seven straight games outright and nine of their last 13 against the spread. They did cover as 8.5-point underdogs in a 25-20 home loss to Philadelphia last week.

Endless NFL Betting Action Ends With Pittsburgh (-2.5) vs. Las Vegas
The Steelers have won three of their last four, both overall and against the spread. Two of those games included outright underdog wins. The Raiders have been on an identical run, winning three of their last four games both overall and against the spread. Pittsburgh is also 4-4 on the road, a record that includes outright victories as underdogs at Carolina and Indianapolis, while the Raiders are battling to keep their fading playoff hopes alive.
