Available Deposit Options
The first deposit is easy to do, and BetRivers offers plenty of options. Paypal is the easiest and always the recommended deposit option.
- PayPal: This is an option that was never available with overseas betting sites.
- Credit Card: Visa and MasterCard are both accepted. Both credit and debit are accepted.
- BetRivers Prepaid Card: You can add money to the Play+ card through your checking account. This is a great option if you use a bank that is denying your deposits.
- Online Banking: Online banking is used to pay all your bills, so why not use it for your sports betting account?
- French Lick Resort: If you are in the casino, you can load your account at any of the windows.

BetRivers has a lot of work to do to keep up with the national powerhouses in terms of bonuses and promotions. While you won’t see the BetRivers commercials like DraftKings and FanDuel, BetRivers offers really nice first deposit bonuses.
As of now, BetRivers is offering bonus bets and deposit matches that everyone else has offered. If it can get you on the app to start, it figures it can keep you for good.

Its playthrough is also about the best in the industry, as you only have to play it through once to be able to withdraw the money.

Sports, lines, and limits
Compared to DraftKings and FanDuel, BetRivers does seem to have a little more juice on its bets. While there are some bets where it is even, like most of the big sporting events, as a whole, you are paying about five percent or so more on BetRivers.
Juice is always higher on prop bets, and it has averaged about 25 percent, where the industry average is 20 percent. This is even more important now during the NFL playoffs, where prop bets are even more popular. BetRivers futures seem to be about the same as well at 25 percent juice.
Now, what it loses in added juice on regular bets, it makes up for with teaser payouts. Its Teaser+ system, which has been a huge hit in the other states, is great if you like to play parlays.
Its two-leg parlays have better odds than most at 2.65 to 1, and its three-leggers are just a shade under 6 to 1. It definitely beats FanDuel and DraftKings if you like to play parlays.
BetRivers offers spreads, props, moneylines, futures, parlays and live betting. Its in-game betting is my personal favorite and the best run of the big three mobile offerings.
Watching the Pacers game live in the arena and being able to throw down a few extra dollars adds a whole other level to the game experience.
Depending on the state you're in, you may not be able to bet on props for NCAA events, but you can bet everything else.

Like we said earlier, BetRivers might have the best live betting of anyone. There are tons of options, and the mobile app is quick enough to keep up with the game if you are betting moment to moment. This is our favorite app to bet live on.
Join the BetRivers rewards program
IRush rewards is the program that BetRivers uses. The point system is a lot like you would find on MyBookie or any of the overseas betting options.
You get points based on the type of bet and how much you wager. The riskier the bet, the more points you will accrue.
You get one point for a regular $10 bet. If you play parlays, teasers, or something a little more difficult to hit, it gives you more points. The largest we have seen is a reward 10x your bet for some of the really long odds bets. As you climb the tiers, you will unlock more and more rewards, just like you would with a casino rewards system.
The reward system has two different types of points. There are Loyalty Level points and Bonus Store points. You earn Loyalty points each type you place a bet and earn more the riskier your bet is. You get a point for every $10 you bet.
If you are betting parlays and other type of bets, you will even more points. As you add points, you climb the ranks, increasing your benefits. Elite is the highest level, but that can only be accessed through a special invite. This is for the high rollers of high rollers, but the rewards are top-notch.
The promotional calendar is unlocked when you get to level 7. Free contests and other promotions are available for you, and this is when the rewards system is really beneficial. You accumulate Bonus Store points, which let you access free swag and spins on the prize wheel for cash and other giveaways.
The BetRivers customer service is open 24/7
BetRivers has a 24/7 customer service portal. You can email, chat or call by phone. The emails are responded to in a timely fashion, and I think the easiest to use.
If you have an immediate issue, such as a live bet, the chat function is probably the best way to go. I would put BetRivers’ customer service up there against FanDuel and DraftKings.
What are the main pros of BetRivers?
Rewards: Because the other two major mobile app companies don’t have rewards systems, BetRivers is at a huge advantage here. If you are a regular bettor, climbing the IRush Rewards tiers is quick and unlocks a lot of great promotions and free contests.
Welcome Bonus: For our money, BetRIvers has the best introductory offer. While the amount is slightly smaller, there are a lot fewer hoops to jump through.
Selection: Games and bet types are endless with BetRivers. Both mobile and at French Lick Resort, there are plenty of options.
Live Betting: BetRivers really put its money into live betting. It is paying off as its in-play betting is the best available. It has the most options, and it is easy to follow as the game progresses.
What are the cons?
Promotions: Unless you climb to level 7 of the IRush Rewards program, the promotions and free contests are very limited. While they do take advantage of the odds boost, they don’t do much else when it comes to promotions. Hopefully, they increase this over time, but as of now, FanDuel and DraftKings are way ahead of BetRivers in promotions.
Betting Lines: There is definitely more juice when you are betting at French Lick Resort or on BetRivers. You can usually find slightly better odds on the other sites.
In summary
BetRivers may not be a household name, yet, like DraftKings and FanDuel, but its product is just as good. The app is easy to find on Apple and Android, and the navigation is simple. The live betting section is the best on the market and a personal favorite of ours.
You definitely won’t go wrong if you decide to play on BetRivers, especially with its welcome bonus, which is easy and quick to unlock.
