SIS Signs Parx Racetrack for 24/7 Live Betting Broadcasts

Parx Racing signed a multi-year, exclusive contract in late June with SIS (Sports Information Services), leading supplier of 24/7 betting systems, that will bring suburban Philadelphia’s elite racetrack action to bettors around the globe via SIS’s partner operators and international retail channels, as well as its 24/7 Live Horse Racing and Live Horse and Greyhound Racing channels.

The agreement states that at least 1,530 races a year will be broadcast from the Parx track, part of the largest casino complex in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Parx Racing is owned by Greenwood Racing, Inc.

Simon Fraser, Head of International Horse Racing at SIS, said:
“Securing the exclusive rights to deliver live pictures and data from one of the US’s leading racecourses is a major boost to our international offering. These additional races further enhance our 24/7 racing service, providing even more quality betting opportunities throughout the day, regardless of time zone, with content that will appeal to bettors, and help drive betting turnover for operators.”

Service on a Global Scale

Horse racing is a popular worldwide sport that features fast-paced, exciting action and brings in billions of dollars in revenue every year. With today’s instant gratification expectations, around the clock, im-mediate access to live events heightens enjoyment of any sport, particularly when a wager is riding on the outcome.

With a betting event every three minutes, SIS’s 24/7 racing channels provide wagering opportunities all day and all night, across all time zones, with a convenient time to suit all bettors. SIS strives to provide quality content in all time slots to attract and engage its world-wide markets.

John Dixon, Chief Operating Officer at Parx, said:
“We are pleased to have agreed on a partnership with SIS as they have an established reputation for distributing live racing to operators all around the world and it made strategic sense for us to partner with them. Through this new exclusive deal, we are sure that more people than ever before will be able to see the exciting action from our racecourse.”

SIS has partnered with the global betting industry for more than 30 years. The company supplies short-form betting content to online and retail betting operators up to end-to-end systems of live action, on-screen data graphics with betting triggers, and a wide range of markets and pricing.
