PointsBet and Pacers Agree to Deal

PointsBet has emerged as one of the most prominent players in the sports betting industry, especially in states where they have launched sportsbooks. Indiana is one of the states where they operate an online sportsbook, and they are set to become one of the biggest names in the Hoosier State.

Earlier this week, it was announced that PointsBet had reached an agreement with the Indiana Pacers to become an official sports betting partner of the team. Several other sports betting operators have reached similar deals in recent weeks, but this partnership could change the sports betting industry in Indiana.

PointsBet will be able to advertise on the sidelines at Indiana Pacers’ home games between the bench and the baseline. This is widely considered the most coveted advertising space in the NBA, and the sports betting operator now has exclusive rights to this area.

NBA teams have traditionally reserved that part of the court for other companies, and this will be the first time that a sports betting operator will have exclusive advertising rights to that area. The Indiana Pacers are taking a huge gamble in allowing PointsBet to advertise on the court, but both sides agree that this partnership will be successful.

PointsBet will now be able to use the official team and NBA data and statistics throughout their sports betting platform, which will lead to a better betting experience for their customers. The Pacers are hoping that this partnership will attract a new generation of fans.

Sports betting in the state of Indiana has grown tremendously since its launch in September 2019, and PointsBet has emerged as an industry leader. The NBA has encouraged their teams to seek out deals with sports betting operators as the league continues to embrace the growing industry in the US.

PointsBet Making Deals in Colorado as Well

PointsBet has been working to grow its brand throughout the United States, and they are targeting professional sports teams in the state of Colorado as well. The Australian based company has had little trouble launching in the US, and they are starting to compete with some of the top US-based companies.

This week, PointsBet announced that they had reached an agreement with three professional leagues in the state of Colorado. PointsBet is now an official betting partner of the Denver Nuggets of the NBA, the Colorado Avalanche of the NHL, and the Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League.

The Pepsi Center in Denver is also included as a part of this deal, and it will allow PointsBet to advertise its brand during home games for the Avalanche and Nuggets. Colorado is set to emerge as one of the leaders in the sports betting industry, and PointsBet will be a major player in the market.

Financial terms of this deal were not disclosed, but PointsBet is willing to gamble on the fact that Colorado is set to explode in sports betting. There are only a handful of operators in the state, but that number is set to explode by the end of 2020.
