Atlanta Falcons began their journey as an expansion team in 1966 and play in the National Football Conference of the NFL. The team’s career had a rocky start with the Falcons losing at least 11 out of 14 games in their first three consecutive years. Falcons started at the Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium as their home ground, before switching over to the Georgia Dome in 1992. The team made another ground change in 2017 when they moved to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Thomas Dimitroff is the General Manager of the Atlanta Falcons. Regarded as an impeccable team builder and coach, Dimitroff is amongst the longest-tenured GMs in the NFL. He, along with the Falcons Head Coach Dan Quinn, have been successful in putting together a highly talented, fast, and physical lineup. This approach has helped the Falcons improve their record by winning consecutive season playoff games for the very first time, since their inception around 6 decades ago.
It was due to Thomas Dimitroff’s efforts and impressive decision-making abilities that the team was able to grab an NFC Championship and a subsequent Super Bowl 2018 appearance.
