Monkey Knife Fight Acquires Fantasy Draft

Monkey Knife Fight announced earlier this week that they have acquired FantasyDraft, a daily fantasy sports site. Monkey Knife Fight is the fastest growing daily fantasy sports (DFS) provider in the United States, and they are the third-largest company.

The financial terms of this deal were not announced on Tuesday, but this deal is set to transform the DFS industry in the United States. DraftKings and FanDuel have been the two leaders in the DFS industry, but Monkey Knife Fight is closing the gap fast.

Through this partnership, Monkey Knife Fight will absorb the current users of FantasyDraft, and they will also acquire all of the company’s assets. Even though this merger will not allow Monkey Knife Fight to pass up the other two DFS companies, it will significantly close the gap.

FantasyDraft acquired the company Fantasy Aces in 2017, and now those users will be under the Monkey Knife Fight umbrella. FantasyDraft has also done a great job of using professional athletes to endorse their brand, which will continue as a part of this new deal.

These two companies have also picked up several recent Daily Fantasy Sports awards and are becoming threats to the two leaders in the industry. The EGR Operator Awards have nominated Monkey Knife Fight and FantasyDraft as 2020 Daily Fantasy Sports Operator of the Year.

That award will be given out in November, but these were the only two companies that were nominated for the prestigious award. No matter which company is named the winner, it will stay with this new partnership.

Monkey Knife Fight Forming Partnerships

Along with trying to acquire more customers in the DFS market, Monkey Knife Fight has also been aggressive in forming partnerships with professional sports franchises. Most of the partnerships also allow Monkey Knife Fight to give back to the local community, which has helped the company gain publicity.

Monkey Knife Fight currently has partnership deals with the Los Angeles Chargers, Miami Dolphins, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. They have also partnered with the Minnesota Twins, Miami Marlins, San Francisco Giants, and San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball.

Other deals have emerged as well, and the company is committed to continually seeking out these partnerships

What is Monkey Knife Fight?

Monkey Knife Fight is the fastest growing DFS or sports betting site in North America, and this partnership will continue that trend. Even though Monkey Knife Fight features daily fantasy sports, they put their own unique and fun spin on the game.

Players at Monkey Knife Fight can compete for cash prizes against the odds that are set by the company, or they can challenge their friends to a competition. There are no professional players at Monkey Knife Fight, much different from the other DFS providers.

There are a number of sports featured at Monkey Knife Fight, and that list continues to grow. Monkey Knife Fight features DFS contests on NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL, and many more.
