Let’s take a look at where the sharp money is going in Week 5 of the 2021 NFL Season
1:00 PM ET: New England Patriots at Houston Texans
The New England Patriots (1-3 SU, 2-2 ATS) will travel to Houston to face off against the Texans (0-4 SU, 2-2 ATS). The Patriots are fresh off a tough Sunday Night loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in which Nick Folk missed a last minute field goal to give the Pats the lead.
The Texans, on the other hand, are coming off a huge 40-0 loss to the Buffalo Bills. But in classic sharp fashion, the number has been bumped from +9.5 to +8.5 a handful of times despite more of the bets on the Patriots. Sharps tend to favor large home underdogs, making this one come as less of a surprise.
1:00 PM ET: New Orleans Saints @ Washington Football Team
The New Orleans Saints (2-2 SU, 2-2 ATS) are fresh off the heels of losing a game to the Giants in which they led 21-10. The Football Team (2-2 SU, 1-3 ATS) are off a road win against the Atlanta Falcons.
Despite nearly 75% of the bets being on the Saints in this one, The Football Team has bumped from +2.5 to +2 multiple times, and won’t budge to +3 . The best number here would be +2.5 if you can find it.
1:00 PM ET: Green Bay Packers at Cincinnati Bengals
The Green Bay Packers (3-1 SU, 3-1 ATS) will travel to face off against the Cincinnati Bengals (3-1 SU, 2-2 ATS). Despite just 29% of the bets being on the Bengals, nearly 65% of the money is on them. The Bengals have been bet down from +3.5 and have held steady at +3. The last time the Packers were road favorites, they got blown out by the New Orleans Saints in week 1. The Bengals should also have Tee Higgins back in this game alongside Jamaar Chase.
1:00 PM ET: Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars
The Tennessee Titans (2-2 SU, 2-2 ATS) will face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars (0-4 SU, 1-3 ATS). The Titans are coming off an overtime loss to the New York Jets. The Jaguars lost on a last second field goal to the Bengals on Thursday Night Football.
With that said, the sharps are all over the Jaguars in this one. The Titans defense has looked lackluster, and their receiver corps led by A.J Brown and Julio Jones is banged up. The Jaguars played well on the road last week, and sharps appear to be buying that performance. Nearly 90% of the bets are on the Titans, but the line has been bet down from +4.5 to +4 in some spots. If you can find 4.5 on the Jaguars, take it while it’s still there.
