We’re rolling with Buffalo here for Monday Night Football – Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans, Mon 10/18
The Titans are 3-2, but they certainly haven’t impressed. One of those wins was against a lifeless Jaguars team. Another was in overtime and took a miraculous comeback.
Just two weeks ago, Tennessee lost to the Jets. Their last two games have been against New York and Jacksonville, two of the worst teams in the league. Needless to say, playing the Bills will be a big step up in competition.
The back-to-back games against bottom-feeder teams won’t have them ready for this one. The offseason departure of Titans offensive coordinator Arthur Smith really seems to have hurt Ryan Tannehill, as his efficiency is down significantly.
On the other hand, the Bills just dominated the Chiefs. Buffalo was rusty in Week 1, and they’ve been dominant ever since. They’ve scored at least 35 points in each of their last four games, and their defense is starting to play like it did in 2019 again.
We don’t see Tannehill keeping up with Josh Allen, even with Julio Jones returning to the lineup for the Titans.
