It’s a heck of a return on investment: $150 for just $5. And yet that’s the potential being extended to new customers by DraftKings, which is offering $150 in free bets if an initial $5 wager proves to be a winner. Read it again: Bet $5 to win $150 at DraftKings.
And that’s on top of whatever cash winnings the bet generates. The initial bet can only be a pregame moneyline wager, which means no parlays, live bets or bet boosts. Bet $5, Win $150 At DraftKings – NFL: 49ers At Seahawks
The 7-6 Seahawks host 9-4 San Francisco on Thursday Night Football. It’s a battle of the top two teams in the NFC West. The 49ers are a 3-point road favorite, according to DraftKings. Seattle is a +160 underdog outright. San Francisco is favored despite missing wide receiver Deebo Samuel (knee, ankle sprains). And 49ers third-string quarterback Brock Purdy, pressed into starting duty due to injuries to Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo, is day-to-day with a rib injury.
The 49ers still have managed to win six straight games, covering the spread in five. In Seattle, enthusiasm over quarterback Geno Smith has ebbed somewhat. The Seahawks have dropped three of four, the most recent a demoralizing home defeat to lowly Carolina. Seattle hasn’t paid off as a moneyline underdog since winning at Arizona on the first weekend in November.
NBA: Pelicans At Jazz
Also on Thursday, the Western Conference-leading New Orleans Pelicans travel to Utah. The Jazz has been very competitive despite its ongoing rebuilding project. It’s the second game in Salt Lake City in three nights for New Orleans, which had a seven-game win streak snapped in a 121-100 loss to the Jazz on Tuesday. Zion Williamson of the Pelicans is finally looking the player everyone saw at Duke He scored 35 in a recent win at Phoenix. He is averaging 25 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, though he was limited by foul trouble in the first game at Utah.

New Orleans was a 2-point favorite in Tuesday’s game, according to DraftKings. The Pelicans failed to cover the spread for just the second time in their past seven outings. Utah’s victory was the its fourth in seven games. That has helped keep Utah on the fringes of playoff contention despite trading stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert in the offseason. The Jazz have been an inconsistent prospect against the spread, though, covering in just five of their past 12 games.
NHL: Maple Leafs At Rangers
Hockey more your thing? Two of the best teams in the NHL’s Eastern Conference meet Thursday night at Madison Square Garden, when the New York Rangers host the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Rangers enter on a four-game winning streak. They took down divisional leaders New Jersey and Vegas over that span. Toronto enters as one of the hottest teams in the NHL. It has won four straight and nine of 10. The surge has lifted them within three points of league-leading Boston in the Atlantic.

Toronto to this point is a solid 19-11 in straight-up wagering, though just 14-16 against the puck line—which takes a 1.5-goal difference into account. Three of their last four victories, though, have been blowouts, including 4-0 at Dallas, which leads the Central Division. The Rangers are 15-15 in straight-up wagering and 12-18 against the puck line, winning their past two contests by a single goal. And neither team has fared well against the total; Toronto has a 10-18 over/under record, while New York is 12-17.
