It was only a matter of time before the Las Vegas Raiders found a partner from the gambling and entertainment industry, and they were able to land one of the biggest and best. The Raiders, along with MGM Resorts International, recently announced a partnership that will benefit both companies in the Raiders’ relocation to “Sin City.”
MGM Resorts will be the official gaming partner of the Las Vegas Raiders, and MGM will also be one of the founding partners of Allegiant Stadium.
The National Football League is happy to be bringing a team to Las Vegas for next season, and it didn’t take long for companies to line up in an effort to strike a deal with the Raiders. MGM Resorts International was able to come to terms with the Raiders, and it will be getting plenty of publicity and recognition from the deal.
Not only will MGM become the official gaming partner of the Raiders, but it will also be the official pre-game and post-game party spot for Raiders fans. MGM Resorts International will have signage featured throughout Allegiant Stadium all year long, as well as some other perks inside of the stadium on game day.
Lots To Offer
MGM Resorts will have plenty more to offer on game day at Allegiant Stadium besides just having some signage throughout the stadium. An MGM club will be set up inside of the stadium, and MGM will also have naming rights to a VIP Entry and drop-off zone on the West side of the stadium.
The MGM Club will be one of the most exclusive places inside of Allegiant Stadium and will feature a full-service bar. Upgraded stadium seating will also be offered as part of entry into the club, and a luxury lounge will also be featured.
It is unclear how many tickets will be sold for access into the MGM Club, or if it will be open to the public throughout the year. MGM Resorts will be able to open its MGM Club during entertainment events, but it will also be in charge of staffing.
The official pre-game and post-game parties being offered from MGM Resorts will be taking place throughout Las Vegas at their already built and established locations. There will be interactive fan experiences, and the Raiders will be providing MGM Resorts with official team data and gear to increase the fan experience.
Allegiant Stadium is currently under construction near Mandalay Bay, and it has a price tag of close to $2 billion. The state-of-the-art facility will be home to Las Vegas Raiders games on Sundays but will also be a prime entertainment spot in Las Vegas and for all residents of Nevada.
Allegiant Stadium will be a climate-controlled, fully-enclosed stadium that will have a capacity of close to 65,000 people. The National Football League will be hosting its annual draft in Las Vegas in 2020, and there is a good chance that Allegiant Stadium will be hosting a Super Bowl before the end of the decade.
