Is Bet365 Legal in the United States?

The short answer is yes – U.S. bettors can legally bet on sports on bet365.com as long as they are physically present in New Jersey.

Bet365 is one of the biggest and well-known sports betting operators in the United Kingdom, but the site is now available in the United States. Not only is this site willing to accept players from the U.S., but it holds a sports betting license in the state of New Jersey.

New Jersey residents are the only ones that are eligible to sign up and place bets through Bet365, but that will be changing in the coming years. The site has actually received approval in two other states but has not yet been able to launch its online site.

This company was founded in 2000 by Denise Coates, and she still plays a large role in the company. The success of the sports betting industry in the United States attracted many operators from the UK, including Bet365.

In April 2020, Bet365 was able to launch its online site and mobile app in New Jersey, which is the top market in the industry. This was the 16th online sportsbook to launch in the state, and that number has increased since that time.

Bet365 is one of the top options in the industry, especially for bettors that are looking to bet on international markets. This operator has to follow the New Jersey state rules and regulations, but it pushes the limit on betting markets and betting types.

The biggest downfall for Bet365 is that it is currently only available in New Jersey, and that has limited its market share in the US. If you live in a state that has sports betting available, you will want to be on the lookout for a Bet365 launch date.

Bet365 Promotions and bonues

New customers that sign up at Bet365 in New Jersey are eligible to receive a nice welcome offer of up to $500 in bet credits. There is no promo code that is needed, but this offer is only eligible to be claimed when first creating an account.

Up to $500 in Bet Credits

In order to claim this offer from Bet365, customers must make a minimum deposit of at least $10. Customers are eligible to make multiple deposits within the first 30 days of opening an account, and the largest deposit will be used.

The next step is to make qualifying bets, and bonus credits will be awarded to your account for the amount that was wagered. These bet credits can be used by free bets at the Bet365 NJ Sportsbook.

This bonus offer is expected to be offered in other markets that feature a Bet365 Sportsbook.

Colorado, New York Are Targets

Bet365 has already applied for a sports betting license in both Colorado and New York, and it has been approved in each market. As of May 2021, Bet365 has not officially launched in either state, but that could change by the end of the year.

Colorado launched sports betting in May 2020, and it has quickly become one of the biggest markets in the United States. New York lawmakers recently approved online sports betting, but it’s unclear when that form of betting can be launched.
