Casino Del Sol to Offer Sports Betting

Arizona sports betting is scheduled to launch on September 9, when the 2021 NFL season begins. The state legislature passed sports betting laws earlier in the year, and there have been numerous partnerships forming between permit holders and operators.

On Tuesday, Arizona officials announced another sports betting partnership in the state. Scientific Games Corporation has joined forces with Casino Del Sol in Arizona to launch its OpenSports mobile betting platform.

In Arizona, professional sports franchises and tribal nations can offer sports betting. Casino Del Sol is located in Tucson and is owned and operated by the Pascua Yaqui Tribe.

Details of the partnership

Arizona’s sports betting market will be extensive. Many top-tier operators are preparing to launch in the state, like FanDuel and DraftKings. The Casino Del Sol mobile platform will be a secondary platform because it will make its debut in Arizona.

The tribal casino partnered with Scientific Games to run its new sportsbook that will be titled SolSports. SolSports will be a retail betting facility at Casino Del Sol, where there will be betting kiosks. Additionally, the property’s sister property, Casino of the Sun, will also offer betting kiosks.

The sportsbooks will gain access to Scientific Games OpenBet and OpenTrade technology. Both of these systems are powered by Don Best Sports. Scientific Games has won numerous awards for technology in the sports betting industry. The combination of excellent betting technology and a first-class sportsbook will enhance the gambling experience at Casino Del Sol.
